Who is PARK Media?
Andrew Park has been a successful entrepreneur in the field of high tech electronics for over two decades. Andrew was chosen as Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young in both 1997 and 1998. He was also chosen by USA Today in those same years. In 1999 he was selected as Entrepreneur of the Year by the American Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles and by the Korean Chamber of Commerce. In 2003 Mr. Park established PARK DCS, Inc to fill a void that existed in the area of commercial grade High Definition flat panel televisions. The name brands were concentrating on the consumer market and the commercial establishments were being forced to accept consumer grade products for their sports bars, restaurants, bowling alleys and digital signage. Now, four years later, thousands of establishments rely on PARK branded commercial grade High Definition flat panel televisions ranging from 26” to 60”.
In 2007 Mr. Park established PARK Media specifically to supply commercial grade HD flat panel televisions to the hospitality industry. The emergence of IPTV created unique needs for hotels that were already in a major transition upgrading from CRT to HD flat panel units in each of their guest rooms. Not wanting to make another transition in a couple of years when IPTV becomes a required technology many hotels opted to wait until someone introduced a flat panel television with integrated Internet Protocol. PARK Media has now introduced one of the first commercial grade HD flat panel televisions with full IP capabilities integrated into the standard cabinetry. The response from large and small hotels has been amazing. They’re getting the television of the future today.
